In the clip, we see Hellboy doing what he does best as he shows off his brutal moves against an adversary. At one point, he even takes him to hell and back.
The character is due to be released as part of the Fighter Pack 2 DLC, alongside Aquaman’s nemesis Black Manta and Mortal Kombat‘s Raiden.
He will be downloadable for those who have bought Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack. After that, he will become available to everyone else on November 21 for $5.99 (£4.56).
The NetherRealm Studios game, which is the sequel to 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, was released earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Hellboy is set to be remade in the movie-sphere with Stranger Things‘ David Harbour taking over the role from Ron Perlman.
Explaining the tone of the new movie, screenwriter Andrew Cosby said: “I can’t really talk about specifics with regard to the story, which they’re keeping a pretty tight lid on at the moment, but I can say that this is a darker, more gruesome version of Hellboy.“
